A federal judge ruled that the Trump administration violated the First Amendment rights of Education Department employees when it replaced their personalized out-of-office e-mail notifications with partisan language blaming Democrats for the government shutdown.
"When government employees enter public service, they do not sign away their First Amendment rights," U.S. District Judge Christopher Cooper wrote in his decision on Friday, "and they certainly do not sign up to be a billboard for any given administration's partisan views."

Education Department employees were told to create an out-of-office message for their government email accounts to be used while workers were furloughed. The department even gave employees boilerplate language they could adapt that simply said:

"Native American actor says she was detained by ICE officers who said tribal ID ‘looked fake’"
Elaine Miles of Northern Exposure was stopped by four masked men in Seattle while walking to a bus stop. , told the ICE agents to call the tribal enrollment office number on the card.
According to a report of the encounter by the Seattle Times, the officers refused. Miles called the office herself, whereupon one officer tried to take her phone but failed. Then the men released her and departed in their vehicles.

With Proposition 50, voters handed the keys of redistricting back to the very politicians the independent commission was created to restrain. The so-called “Election Rigging Response Act” was sold as a way to “fight back” against Republican gerrymandering in Texas, but make no mistake, this was no act of resistance. It was an act of surrender.
Once upon a time, California prided itself on being the antidote to partisan manipulation of what was created at that time, known as the the California Citizens Redistricting Commission, a rare, voter-approved firewall against any political map-rigging. It was transparent, balanced, and it was independent! And it was run by ordinary citizens not politicians who decided how district lines were drawn. It was made to “Leveling the playing field” with Texas. But since when does California, the self-proclaimed bastion of fairness, justify one bad act by pointing to another? That’s like saying, “Texas cheats, so now we get to cheat too.” How stupid is that!
Now, these Democrats control not just the legislature, but also the Governorship, and most local governments — they also control the map itself. Every district can be tailored to preserve their dominance, it will silent the opposition, and make “Elections” little more than just being plain Formalities.

Marshals conducted a traffic stop and took Banuelos into custody. Details about the alleged kidnapping and sexual assault were not immediately available.
Banuelos was charged last year with trespassing with a deadly or dangerous weapon, carrying and discharging a firearm and civil disorder.

Why are these Governors in Major Progressive Communist Democrat governed Cities, telling us, that America’s homicide rate is the lowest in modern history. Thay’s Great News, Right? The FBI is patting itself on the back, crime analysts are nodding along, and headlines are already drafted celebrating a “historic drop.”
ReplyDeleteBut here’s what has me furious: these glowing national numbers keep clashing with what residents actually see in major Progressive Communist Democrat governed Cities, many of which are battling visible waves of Violence, Carjackings, Retail Crime, and Assaults. And every time these cities report their data, the numbers look suspiciously low when these major Progressive Communist Democrat governed Cities just don’t Report them, the Whole System Breaks .
But take a hard look at the big Democratic cities with their chronic data gaps:
Some classify shootings as just “assaults” to avoid bumping homicide stats.
Others use outdated systems that can’t even submit accurate data, or they just don’t report them all..
Several cities report months late, or they skip entire quarters, without truly reporting them.
Misclassifying the racial, ethnic, or national origin of perpetrators to produce more “progressive” numbers.
And then there’s the infuriating tactic of simply not counting deaths that happen after a victim reaches the hospital, quietly shifting them out of homicide tallies.
This isn’t a conspiracy; it is bureaucratic rot and statistical sleight of hand. Or is it just plain BS?.Yet these same Cities just sit back and bask in the glow of “historic national improvements”
You cannot fix what you refuse to rreport. And too many city leaders treat accurate crime data like a political liability and would rather than a public safety necessity. And frankly, Americans are tired of being sold a story that is just another line of BS that collapses the moment you step onto a city sidewalk and see reality for yourself.
But stop pretending the system isn’t full of gaping reporting anomalies concentrated in the largest blue-run cities. Until those issues are addressed, every “historic low” will be tainted by the same unanswered question: What numbers aren’t we seeing?

Elaine Miles of Northern Exposure was stopped by four masked men in Seattle while walking to a bus stop. , told the ICE agents to call the tribal enrollment office number on the card.
According to a report of the encounter by the Seattle Times, the officers refused. Miles called the office herself, whereupon one officer tried to take her phone but failed. Then the men released her and departed in their vehicles.
Miles alleges that a similar thing has happened to her son and uncle – they have previously been detained and later released by ICE officers who would not initially accept their tribal identification.
According to a post on Facebook by the Lakota People’s Law Project, Miles told the group: “Tribal IDs—the government issued those damn cards to us like a pedigree dog! It’s not fake!”
Miles’ account chimes with others of Native Americans being swept up in the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown. Native News Online reports that an Indigenous woman born in Phoenix was mistakenly detained by immigration authorities after being released from jail in Des Moines, Iowa.
“What we’re talking about here is racial profiling,” Seattle-based Indigenous rights attorney Gabriel Galanda told the Seattle newspaper. “People are getting pulled over or detained on the street because of the dark color of their skin.”

Court records show that Mohammad Dawood Alokozay was charged at the state level with making a terroristic threat.
The terrorist Alokozay came to the United States as part of Operation Allies Welcome under the Joe Biden administration, DHS said. The effort resettled Afghans following the U.S. military withdrawal from the country in the summer of 2021.
Rahmanullah Lakanwal, the gunman in the shooting of two National Guard members this week in Washington, D.C., also arrived in the U.S. under the same program.

I can’t stop thinking about Sarah Beckstrom… and what happened to her on American soil.

It cannot be treated like another headline.
This should be the moment where we finally say, enough.
She wasn’t overseas. She wasn’t in a war zone. She was serving her duty right here at home — and she still lost her life. That should never happen in the United States of America. Not to her. Not to any of our troops.
And then there’s her father…
A man carrying a pain no parent should ever have to endure. A father isn’t supposed to bury his daughter. He isn’t supposed to stand there knowing he can’t protect her anymore. That kind of heartbreak never leaves you.
Please keep him — and their entire family — in your prayers tonight.
They’re living through every parent’s worst nightmare.
