My brain, like many of yours, has had the opportunity to seek and expand knowledge. This results from having a sense of curiosity about the world, and an understanding that it is up to us to seek and learn information that helps us form a rational perspective.
This is what many people don’t have. They learn what they need to know to do their jobs and to become responsible to loved ones. But most of their opinions and views are not formed by reading, study, and critical observation of people and events. They find it much easier to trust and believe in a given or chosen authority. This authority will tell them not to listen to any information that the authority does not give them. It starts for all of us with our parents. Later churches, governments, politicians, and the military are the authorities that require such unquestioning trust and belief.
There are uncounted sources of “information” that have an agenda behind what they tell us. Salesmen will tell us anything to get us to buy their product, just as politicians will tell us anything to get our vote.
Is it wise to trust all of them? Certainly not. Only the most simple and gullible people are prone to believe just anybody, or anything someone tells them.
But we have those people who are satisfied with being told what is true. They develop a faith in their given or chosen authority.
Let’s say one such authority is FOX News. They are in business to sell you their side of the news, which happens to be the Republican side. They will tell their loyal CUSTOMERS that CNN “twists the news every night”. FOX also got sued for promoting LIES about Dominion voting machines. In your words, they “twisted the news”, and had to pay them $787.5 million, and fire Tucker Carlson.
It is their AGENDA to monopolize your information and convince you to BELIEVE Republican politicians. This is reality. And they STILL twist the news, but not to the true believers. They never question their authority.Only if they disagree with Trump.
CNN and other corporate news sources also have a profit motive. Like FOX they are selling you information. (Advertisers pay the bill.)
It was 20 years ago when CNN, FOX, ABC, CBS, and even MSNBC decided it was in their interest to SELL the IRAQ WAR. MSNBC FIRED Phil Donahue despite his high ratings for questioning the war. The New York Time printed without question Bush and Cheney’s lies about Saddam being in cahoots with al-Qaeda, chemical/biological weapons programs, “stockpiles of WMDs”, and even an active nuclear weapons program. ALL WERE FALSE. Rusty old chemical munitions were recovered, but none were even USED against US troops.
But the Bush/Cheney propaganda worked. By the time Bush ordered his war for oil MOST Americans were convinced Saddam had something to do with 9-11. He didn’t.
Those of us with a high level of curiosity, who read books, and pay attention to other sources of information watched helplessly as Bush sent thousands of our troops to the slaughter.
Next: A few lessons we can learn.
The first lesson, kids, is corporate media is BUSINESS. Business is business. Profit over people is almost a RULE of business. Who here has NOT been ripped off or sold shabby merchandise?

I asked to speak to the owner, and met Peter Tsadilas. We had a powerful conversation. I’d never met him before as there have been several owners since we were last there. When the indescribably horrible Hamas butchery took place in Israel on October 7, Peter decided not to stay silent. He ordered and hung 4 large Israeli flags and printed the banner for the window. But since the signs went up, Peter told me business has dropped by 40%. He wants to keep the Israeli flags flying, although he is under a lot of pressure not to “take sides.” So Moti and I are going to do our part by eating at the Dolph. For those who live in or near Huntington , those who eat out Dairy-only, there’s plenty to choose from. For those who don’t eat in non-Kosher establishments, please stop by and say thank you.

This same “clown” lowered your taxes, increased the standard deduction on your IRS return from $12,500 to $24,400 for married couples and caused the stock market to rise to record levels, positively impacting the retirement accounts of tens of millions of citizens.
The “clown” in the White House fast-tracked the development of multiple COVID Vaccines which are now available or will be soon. And yet we still don't have a vaccine for SARS, Bird Flu, Ebola, or a host of diseases that arose during previous administrations.
The “clown” in the White House rebuilt our military which the Obama administration crippled and fired 214 key generals and admirals in his first year of office.
Rush Limbaugh said it best today. The plan by the establishment was not only to try and stop Trump the last 4 years, but to try and find some way to throw him out of office and destroy his legacy. That is exactly what they are doing now. Not just because they hate Trump, but because they FEAR Trump. They are trying to destroy all the good he did the last 4 years and insure he can't come back against them in 2024. But much like Biden’s public pronouncements in the wake of the Afghanistan disaster that permanently damaged his credibility, Biden’s statements fly in the face of his own actions and record.
Soon after taking office, Biden rescinded most of the Trump-era sanctions on Iranian oil, resulting in tens of billions of additional dollars every year for the regime to fund its terrorist proxies. Around the same time, Biden restarted U.S. aid money to the Palestinians, shipping $235 million taxpayer dollars to Hamas-controlled territory despite warnings from his own State Department that this money would be used to fund terror campaigns
Just one month before Hamas began its assault, Biden also released $6 billion in frozen Iranian assets in exchange for five hostages. This glaring sign of weakness let Hamas and Iran’s other proxies know that the United States is willing to negotiate with terrorists and encouraged more hostage taking like what has occurred in Israel.
Biden’s State Department was also reportedly infiltrated by Iranian agents who obtained access to highly classified government documents and influenced Biden’s Iran policy.
Even now as he tries to play the part of a great friend to Israel, Biden has refused to commit to reimposing Trump’s sanctions on Iran to deprive them of the resources to finance terror. Instead, during his remarks in Tel Aviv, and again in the Oval Office on Thursday, Biden lectured Israel to not “be consumed” by their “rage” – a comment that could be interpreted as a subtle warning that Biden’s support comes with stipulations about what tactics Israel can use to respond to the threat from Hamas.
Biden has also pledged $100 million in “humanitarian assistance” to Gaza and the West Bank – while offering no assurances that this “aid money” would not be intercepted and used by Hamas just like the other hundreds of millions of dollars Biden sent to the region. Meanwhile, in his speech Thursday night, Biden made clear that U.S. aid to Israel is being conditioned on Congress also approving tens of billions of dollars more in aid to Ukraine with no oversight for how that money is being spent.
With a dismal approval rating and a multitude of crises weighing down his re-election bid, Biden desperately needs to be the hero of this story. But the truth is, Joe Biden isn’t the hero of anything – and in this case, he’s closer to the villain.

As the time for the 2024 elections are getting closer, and closer, the Democrats are getting more, and more nervious about Donald Trump’s winning the presidency once again, so the democrats have a new trick up their slimly sleeve. So as state court the Democrats are also getting under way with their proceedings in Colorado, Michigan and Minnesota in lawsuits aimed at barring Donald Trump from appearing as a presidential candidate on the ballot in next year’s presidential election, the judges in those cases should understand that the text, history, and application of the 14th Amendment make it clear that they have no legal authority to take any such action.
ReplyDeleteIf you recall, there has never been any Federal Court in any of those states, as a matter of fact in ANY states that has convicted Trump of engaging in ANY “insurrection or rebellion” in violation of 18 U.S.C. 2383, which makes it a crime to engage in “any rebellion or insurrection against the authority of the United States.” NO! That has never taken place.
Even more importantly, in the second “impeachment”resolution of Trump on Jan. 11, 2021, he was “Charged” by the House of Representatives in Article I with “Incitement of Insurrection.” However , he was “ACQUITTED” by the Senate. YES, HE WAS ACQUITTED! Not in a single one of the indictments has he even been charged with Insurrection, yet he's supposed to be disqualified from the ballot for Insurrection? Are they kidding!.
Any judge participating in such shenanigans, should face Disbarment.

It applied to CONFEDERATES at the time. The evidence of their insurrection was obvious, just like for Trump.
