A Side Order of Race With That Cappuccino? ...

Let's start with why don't you lower the prices of your coffee so that more minorities can afford it.

What do you think?

  1. I am proud to say I have never bought anything at Starbucks. It was hate at first sight the minute it arrived on the scene. Pretentious claptrap for status-seeking Yuppie wannabes, and a hangout for limp-wristed latté leftists and lethargic lounge lizards.PHOOEY!

  4. I can’t think of a better way to talk about race, than to agitate people BEFORE they have had their coffee served to them by hipster art majors with bones through their noses and pins sticking out of their faces. Those mooching over their parents’ garage in the wealthy burbs while assailing capitalism.

Of course, those same hipster doofuses and their $8 per cup-buying hipster customers will probably GLADLY talk about other people’s problem with race, and how “we” need to give more money to the negroes.

The last time a Republican was in the White House we had the worst attack on American soil, we fought two unpaid-for wars, Bush created one of the largest governmental agencies ever in the history of the U.S., DHS, Bush pushed through a law that handed Big Pharma a golden goose, Medicare Part D, and then there was the biggest financial disaster since the Great Depression.

  7. The hell with you, Starbucks. neither I nor anyone else in my family wouldn't be going into any of your stores while you are encouraging idiots to parade around with those "Race" slogons.. I will NEVER buy a thing from your company again, and that includes what you sell in grocery stores.

  8. You have to give kudos to Howard Schultz...he got the whole world to pay five bucks for a cup of coffee and created a really good company along the way,but he's gone over the edge on this one...what the hell qualifies waitperson to talk about race......

  13. I rarely go to a Starbuck's cafe, but when I do, I sure as hell do not want to discuss politics. Doing so gives me dyspepsia. Starbuck's coffee is so strong that I don't need any additional stomach acid.

All this yapping about race is counter-productive. Period.

  14. In the past, I've been very critical of any of the republican presidents for their apparent lack of enthusiasm, to run this country like it was in the good old days when It was the strong leader of the Free World, and everyone, everywhere had respect for her and fear of from us whenever anyone anywhere would dare to challenge us. But that American just doesn’t exist any longer. Not since Barack Obama has become our President and “leader”.
Obama has lost me completely, and I have completely had it with him and his whippy administration. I have lost all the respect that i thought I had with his election. His “Hope and Change” was nothing but a cheap lie and a slogan to get votes.
I'm sick and tired of the Senate, the house, the Congress, the administration that obama has put together and President Obama himself.
I'm afraid the past 2 years of his re-election did me in.
Obama's a wishy washy wimp, John Kerry is a pissy little bully, and a sneaky lying cover of the president. Valerie Jarrett Obama’s key adviser is a shifty sneaky weasel, and she is behind the leak of Hillary Clinton private email use during her tenure as Secretary of State.and the whole lot of them need to be replaced. And after all, who is she anyway? She was unvetted, unknown, and she is unaccountable to anyone.
How dare they threaten people's Social Security and pension checks! It's our money--how dare they act as if it's not. How dare they create such melodrama by waiting until the last possible moment to strike a deal. Grandstanding like that is most unappealing when our money is on the line.
Barack Obama was a brilliant candidate only because he was a good liar. .
He energized youth, minorities, gays and lesbians and others who never voted before.
But he's turned his back on all of us who believed in him and all his hope and change rhetoric. Rhetoric. That's all it was.
He completely oversold himself, like an infomercial promising the crap they're selling actually works.
He spends time pandering to the right-wing and teabaggers as if he owes them something. He spends more time on the Golf course and on Vacations then George Bush ever did. I'm even wondering if he's a GOP ringer, sent in to screw the nation a la George W. Bush.
It's been over six years and the verdict is, he's a dud.
    He stands for nothing.
    He's weak.
    He has no cojones.
Obama Won’t Congratulate Bibi Netanyahu. But He Congratulated Erdogan, Sisi, Rouhani … and Putin! Obama even called the new Egyptian president to congratulate him!
His relationship with Israel and the Jewish people is all but down the toilet. .

Ask around and see if anyone who voted for him is satisfied with the job he's doing.
Ask them to name some positive, progressive changes he's initiated.
    He's a warmonger.
    He's a homophobe.
He allows the GOP to water down anything he suggests, like health care for example.
He's timid, and he has NO backbone, Americans are being beheaded left and right, and what doe he do? NOTHING!..

He's ruined any chance for other minorities, especially Blacks to run for president.
The voters who came out for him won't make that mistake again. The slackers will stay home. The youth will stay home. Millions of us will skip voting for the first time in our lives.
I'm getting sick of defending him and his Obamacare, his incompetence, and his failures in diplomacy. It has no defense!
His immigration reform policy is just talk and nothing more.
Hillary Clinton would have done a far better job as president than Barack Obama.
Anyone would do a better job than that clown.
I wish he'd step down and let Joe Biden take over. He's a goofball, but I'm pretty sure his cojones are intact and operable, plus he's actually a Democrat and not some GOP shill like Obama.
We cant take two more years of Obama. He's the worst Democratic president in history. I just want him to go away, and take his lies, and theatrics with him.

Worst democrat president? How about worst president . Period.
He has done nothing for this country but further divide. I am with you though,he has lost me completely as well even though he never had me to begin with.

Made of his life a poor hash. And all
      He could do after that
      Was sit on his prat
And bash those who still had their cash and all.

There once was a fellow named Les
Whose life was one helluva mess.
      He sat on the sidelines
      Deriding the guidelines
By which others had gained success.

Try looking at your own reflection folks.

The ability to see in oneself the flaw in those they criticize is in short supply on both sides of the great divide.

Introspection and the honesty it requires is certainly something conservatives are seriously deficient in. Same can be said of other ideologies to a lesser degree.
