    1. Yup. Morgan Freeman hits the nail squarely on its proverbial head.

However, that should not be taken to mean working to eliminate institutionalized racism should not be a goal of all peoples. Only the willfully blind will deny its existence.

If we ever stop thinking in terms of ethnicity, race, class etcetera, and start viewing each other as brothers and sisters perhaps there is a chance of eliminating racism.

Isn't it time to acknowledge racism is present in both the right and left, black and white, Muslim and Christianity, and so on and so forth?

I await FreeThinke, Radical Redneck, Rusty Shackelford, Johnny Bee Good, and so many others responses.

    3. Morgan Freeman was wonderful in Driving Miss Daisy. So was Jessica Tandy.

DMD is a wonderful play –– extraordinarily touching, –– possibly even transformative.

That moment on the staircase when Miss Daisy recognized that Hoke was truly her best friend brought tears to my eyes, and still never fails to raise goose bumps whenever i think of it.

A truly great play like DMD does more to promote greater understanding and better relations between the races than all the activists, marches on Washington, screaming demands, and insincere heated political rhetoric put together.

  2. There's a spiritual component that we cannot see that causes racism: it's called the sins of our fathers. It's taught to us as early as we're in our mother's womb, as babies can hear what's going on outside the mother's womb. Some of that gets imprinted in our brain while developing inside, prior to being born. After we're born, we develop a further propensity to committing the sins of our fathers by observing what our parents do and committing to doing the same things. Those are just a small portion of things we do that aggravate the problem.

    Imagine there's no heaven
    It's easy if you try
    No hell below us
    Above us only sky
    Imagine all the people
    Living for today...

    Imagine there's no countries
    It isn't hard to do
Nothing to kill or die for
    And no religion too
    Imagine all the people
    Living life in peace...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us
And the world will be as one

    Imagine no possessions
    I wonder if you can
No need for greed or hunger
    A brotherhood of man
    Imagine all the people
    Sharing all the world...

You may say I'm a dreamer
But I'm not the only one
I hope someday you'll join us

The eyes that fix you in a formulated phrase,
And when I am formulated, sprawling on a pin,
When I am pinned and wriggling on the wall,
    Then how should I begin
To spit out all the butt-ends of my days and ways?
    And how should I presume?

And I have known the arms already, known them all—
Arms that are braceleted and white and bare
(But in the lamplight, downed with light brown hair!)
Is it perfume from a dress
    That makes me so digress?
Arms that lie along a table, or wrap about a shawl.
    And should I then presume?
    And how should I begin?
    . . . . . . . .
Shall I say, I have gone at dusk through narrow streets
And watched the smoke that rises from the pipes
Of lonely men in shirt-sleeves, leaning out of windows?…

  37. Sweeping all petty details and side issues out of the way, what we desperately need to do is get back to First Principles and consider the IMMENSE difference between honest CHARITY, which is always heartfelt and strictly VOLUNTARY, and the COUNTERFEIT version aggressively promoted by the Left.

The former is based entirely on faith in human kindness and a good-hearted devotion to PRINCIPLE. The latter stems from COERCION –– the threat of official ostracism, incarceration, confiscation of personal property,–– possibly torture, and even EXECUTION ––, for failure to conform to the ruthless, ever-increasing dictates of an Almighty Authoritarian STATE.

Charity ceases to BE "Charity," when it is EXTRACTED at the point of a gun.

Jesus Christ sought to transform us on a purely INDIVIDUAL basis, by appealing to our capacity to develop heightened awareness of the significance of and empathy for the plight of Others In so doing He sought to foster the development of a refined moral compass and a reliable good conscience in each.

This could never hope to be achieved through purely TEMPORAL means.

The Marxian-Cummunist-Socialist-Progressive-Liberal-Democrat-Statist model appeals to Envy, Spite, Malice, Pure Selfishness, and the Lust for Vengeance –– the absolute ANTITHESIS of Christian Doctrine.

No GOOD could ever hope to come from such a poisonous philsophy, which is why Marxism and all its hideous permutations have always failed and will always will FAIL to produce anything but misery, mutually shared poverty and deprivation.

It is entirely ILLUSORY to think otherwise.

Doctor CARSON seems to be the only candidate who understands this thoroughly, and does every he can to abide by it.

Is it any wonder the godless, cynical, manipulative, abusive beetle-shelled ENEMEDIA sought to ignore him, isolate him, and deprive him of the opportunity to speak at every available opportunity?

  39. ___ REVIEW of CNN’s REPUBLICAN DEBATE 2/25/16 ___

I watched the entire debate with mounting anger and dismay. Several times I almost turned it off, but felt morally obliged to stick it out, so I did.

I was so moved by disgust I called C-Span's Washington Journal at 7:00 AM, –– a rare occurrence in my usually placid life. They put me on, and I told them in no uncertain terms what I thought of the affair and WHY.

I have no idea whether they allowed everything –– or anything –– I said to go on the air. When I finished, I had the distinct feeling I'd been talking to empty air, because I received no questions or remarks from moderator, Peter Slenn, a decent, mild-mannered guy, even if he is a Washington liberal, but I don't KNOW.

I never use four-letter words, and never indulge in name-calling when speaking in public, but perhaps they didn't like my referring to the rude, noisy, unintelligible exchanges between Mssrs. Trump, Rubio and Cruz as "the moral equivalent of a cockfight in a back alley?" Like it or not the description is chillingly accurate.

After that I went on to say I thought it was a disgrace the way the rules of the debate were set up in such a way as to encourage and promote this despicable behavior.

I added that Dr. Carson and Governor Kasich were the only worthy figures on the platform, and that the way they were virtually ignored by the moderators and given short shrift was contemptible.

Those two fine, dignified, gentlemen were given no time to express and expand on their sober, eminently sane, highly constructive views as to what we ought to try to do to put American society back on an upward trajectory.

Last night's Republican debate was a degrading spectacle with tragic implications for the future of our country.

That leaves ME nowhere, since I find ALL the viable candidates on BOTH sides depressingly unsuitable for the job they seem much too childishly eager to be awarded.

Jefferson was a highly intelligent man, perhaps one of America's brightest. As noted by JFK when he said to a group of people during dinner one evening, I think this is the most extraordinary collection of talent, of human knowledge, that has ever been gathered at the White House - with the possible exception of when Thomas Jefferson dined alone.

I often wondered if he knew something about himself others, except for maybe John Adams, missed.

  43. POLITICS? BURN IT ALL to the GROUND - PART ONE

    February 25, 2016

    by Eric Odom

    http://libertynews.com/2016/02/politics-burn-it-all-to-the-ground/

The level of misjudgment and underestimation happening in the GOP, the conservative movement and conservative media as a result of Trump’s rise is astounding. It’s as if they’ve all been asleep for the past 15 years. It’s as if they’ve been hit by a baseball bat in slow motion but somehow never saw it coming.

The very bloggers, party activists, pundits and and Republicans who for nearly two decades have told Americans to “just hold your nose and vote for the guy” are now telling Trump supporters they will not hold their noses. We can’t have the perfect candidate, they say. We can’t win a general election if we’re too conservative, they say. We can’t allow the left to shut down government because we’ll get blamed, they say.

These same people believe George Bush had his faults, but was a great President. These same people believe that while House Speaker Paul Ryan doesn’t fight Obama the way he was elected to fight (he doesn’t fight at all), he’s at least “safe” and doesn’t get the party in trouble.

These people live in a reality they hope comes about at some point in the future. They have no clue what reality we’re actually in. This reality is one of revolution, not one of choosing politically sound motivation.

Yes, Donald Trump is liberal. No, he is not conservative. And no, he isn’t going to be a champion of conservative causes. Trump’s diehard fans will try and dispute that but doing so is a futile practice. Trump’s rise is in no way related to his political positions. Not past or present.

The establishment and their allies in conservative media have no clue how to deal with Trump. Right now they’re circling the wagons and planning their final stand. Tens of millions of dollars will soon be spent hitting Trump on his liberalism.

And it will all be completely wasted money. It will do absolutely nothing to change the outcome of this election.

Why? Because what Trump represents has nothing to do with issues or political positions. This is why the demographics behind him are so wide ranging and diverse. Christians, atheists, fiscal hawks and social warriors are all engaged in deep rooted support for Trump. They aren’t stupid and shouldn’t be treated as such. Sure, many of them will try and defend Trump when accusations of his liberalism come about, but that’s natural and comes organically for any candidate’s supporters when said candidate is under attack.

No, Trump’s support comes from a desperate need to burn it all to the ground.

What comes out on the other side is of lesser concern over whether or not it can all be burned down to begin with. In the minds of many, nuking the entire machine is step 1. Period.

  44. POLITICS? BURN IT ALL to the GROUND - PART TWO

    February 25, 2016

    by Eric Odom

    http://libertynews.com/2016/02/politics-burn-it-all-to-the-ground/

Is Marco Rubio going to accomplish that? Nope. Would Mitt Romney? Absolutely not. John McCain? come on now. George Bush? Not a chance. Paul Ryan? Get real.

Rubio, Romney, McCain, Bush and Ryan are the very kinds of people who brought about a government that completely ignores the will of the people. And the same pundits, bloggers and analysts now crying about Trump’s rise are the people who enabled them.

You see, it’s not just that Trump’s supporters disagree with and get agitated by the voices now opposing them, it’s also that these supporters blame those very voices for the situation they now find themselves in without a choice.

Our federal government was initially established to protect rights and defend our borders from foreign invasion. Since then it has been allowed to violate our rights, open our borders and allow every decision we make to be blocked by a massive government who uses our money to dictate what we can and cannot do.

This is not a government for and by the people. This is a rogue government standing in opposition of the people. A rogue government enabled by those now panicked about Trump’s rise to power.

Donald Trump isn’t a conservative. Donald Trump is a weapon. A powerful weapon in a time when people feel powerless and disarmed.

Arguing on Donald Trump’s conservatism is naive and silly. That’s not what this is all about. And those making such an argument prove they are disconnected from the reality of the times.

The message coming from the Trump alliance is simple. Burn it all to the ground. Any counter argument to that suggests to Trump’s supporters that you want to save the political machine that seeks to ruin us all. In their minds it’s one or the other. The machine survives and continues governing us into oblivion, or the machine is burned down and we all figure out what gets built in its place
    .
Those are the two options of our time. The rest is just noise.

The poll results, from Democratic and Republican legislative races, have surprised many leading Dems, virtually all of whom have endorsed Clinton, while confounding and energizing GOP leaders, many of whom until recently have been opposed to Trump.

There are some Democrats who think that Hillary can be taken if Trump mounts a strong campaign,’one of the state’s most prominent Democrats said.

  54. I watched Sunday as Donald brushed off questions about the Klan and like many, was disgusted. What research does he need to do?

But I was more upset by the "journalists" questioning him. Here was a man on the precipice of receiving the GOP nomination to be the president of the USA and the questioning was what you'd expect to hear in a locker room brawl.

I heard not one question of substance regarding what he would do if he was elected and how he might accomplish his goals.

No one asked him how he'd balance the budget, no one asked him how he would deport 11 million people. No one asked him how he would get the Mexican government to pay for a wall. No one asked him about his priorities in his first 100 days.

I expected more from Chris Wallace, given who his dad was.

All I can do is pine for the long form interviews of substance Tim Russert and Roger Mudd used to do with candidates.

"Tell me Mr Kennedy, why do you want to be president?" When Ted had no answer for Mudd, his candidacy was effectively over.

Trump stated that it would be “unfair” to judge the groups without doing more “research” on them.

“Well, I have to look at the group,” Trump replied. “I mean, I don’t know what group you’re talking about. You wouldn’t want me to condemn a group that I know nothing about. I’d have to look. If you would send me a list of the groups, I will do research on them, and certainly I would disavow if I thought that there was something wrong.”
No shouting, yelling or histrionics. Just calm questions and answers to the substantive issues of the day.
Donald Trump is a coward to reject the support of the Ku Klux Klan.
He's a disgrace to the Republican Party and to America.

A group of male Muslim rapefugees made it as far north as Norway, where they immediately began to assault local Norwegian women.

With Norway not being part of the EU, hence not signatory to the "resettlement" mandates, and Norway already having endured a Muslim immigrant rape epidemic, and with a conservative-ish prime minister, the rapefugees were told to get lost, pronto.

They figured they would cross over into Russia and try their luck in Murmansk. Where on their first night, they went to nightclubs and started assaulting Russian women.

The male Russian patrons dragged the Muslim men outside and beat the living shit out of them. Someone called the Murmansk cops. Who showed up and then themselves also jumped in and beat the shit out of the Muslims a second time, then hauled every last man jack of them (every last man Abdul?) off to the cell block. No charges were filed against the Russian men who had defended their womenfolk against the "newcomers".

  69. My 12-year old grandson knows who David Duke is and what the KKK stands for. He wouldn't need to do "research" to find out. But then, my grandson is not a cowardly weasel who is unable to look at evil, call it what it is, and reject it.

But the morally rotten, Vulgar Talking Yam would not reject the domestic terrorist group, the KKK:

  70. Dear dumbass's
f your boy Trump wins the presidency, you will need something stronger than marijuana to ease your pain. Also, it is extremely tiring to hear about people describing Obama as feckless, weak etc. And if you really do prefer pissy, angry tyrants, why don't you consider moving to Russia or North Korea?

    2. Mr. Free, When you learn to write in English, you can come back and try to argue for the neo-fascist you so heartily support. Meanwhile, we suggest you read a book on English grammar.

  71. David Duke is a notorious anti-Semite and racist and his name is synonymous with bigotry,” said Jonathan A. Greenblatt, ADL’s CEO. “Duke is a perennial candidate for elected office and perhaps America’s best known racist and anti-Semite. He is a former Imperial Wizard of the Knights of the Ku Klux Klan. His message is racist, anti-Semitic, and anti-American to its very core, and he’s clearly exploiting Mr. Trump’s candidacy to get publicity for himself and his hateful ideas...

No doubt the racists, white supremacists, and anti-Semites at the Smut Hut are squealing with happiness because David Duke wants to be Trump's BFF. Trump should make Duke his VP running mate -- a dream team the Smut Hutters would die for.

    Trump/Duke 2016! "Let's Make America Hate Again!"

  72. You know, I’m really getting sick and tired of everyone making a big deal out of Sunday, when CNN’s Jake Tapper went after Trump about an endorsement from David Duke, a former KKK leader, for several reasons…
First off; can candidates control who supports them? No, and to think otherwise is absolutely ridiculous.
Second; if Trump didn’t understand what Tapper was asking, can you blame him for being reluctant to answer, given the media’s incessant attempts to get him in a “gotcha” moment? Almost every interview the man does is filled with rhetorical questions based off of half-truths and inconsistent reports, and answering them could very well lead to horrible backlash – just as not answering Tapper’s question did – so why wouldn’t he proceed with caution regardless of what the subject matter is?
Third; do people really believe that Trump supports the KU KLUX KLAN??? If so, I have a bridge to sell in the Sahara, and it’s a sweet deal.

And Lastly, and most importantly; where was the social justice crowd to decry Michelle Obama’s RACIST endorsement of BeyoncĂ©’s halftime show, which honored the notoriously racist hate group, the Black Panther Party? The Black Panther Party is the equivalent of the KKK, only for black people, yet we watched an entire performance honor them, had numerous high-profile people in the country praise the show’s message, and the First Lady even went on TV before the show and expressed her unyielding support for what BeyoncĂ© was about to do.

Where was the outrage? Where was the wall-to-wall coverage? Where were the people demanding that Michelle renounce the Black Panther Party?

    Double standards much? I’d say.

It goes something like this, apparently:

KKK = white racists, so that's bad.
Black Panther Party = black racists, so that's okay, because social justice!

Make any sense to you? Yeah, it doesn't me either.

Anyways, I thought that was worth pointing out, given the current environment where racism is the worst possible accusation that can be leveled against someone. But I digress.

I think this entire ordeal has been blown so totally out of proportion it’s not funny. They're taking a single incident and trying to act as if its some sort of evidence that Trump is a closet Klan member relying on the group's support to win an election, and the problem is, people are buying it hook, line and sinker.

But to be honest, it reeks of desperateness from a terrified establishment that knows it’s about to lose its stranglehold on the collective necks of America and is willing to stop at nothing to retain its power. In other words, it’s probably only going to help Trump since, as we continue to see, the harder that both media and politicians work to smear him, the more support he seems to gain.

    Hence the term, “Teflon Don.”

What do you think, are the KKK attacks just another attempt to make Trump look bad,
And that ASS-HAT progressive jerkoff writes endless blogs about this Crap.

  73. Funny that we never see that Progressive Jerk-off write about Senator Robert Byrd who was a Kleagle, a Klan recruiter, in his 20s and 30s.
Democrat United States Senator Robert C. Byrd was a recruiter for the Klan while in his 20s and 30s, rising to the title of Kleagle and Exalted Cyclops of his local chapter. After leaving the group, Byrd spoke in favor of the Klan during his early political career. Though he claimed to have left the organization in 1943, Byrd wrote a letter in 1946 to the group's Imperial Wizard stating "The Klan is needed today as never before, and I am anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia." Byrd defended the Klan in his 1958 U.S. Senate campaign when he was 41 years old.

Despite being the only Senator to vote against both African American U.S. Supreme Court nominees (liberal Thurgood Marshall and conservative Clarence Thomas) and filibustering the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Byrd later said joining the Klan was his "greatest mistake." The NAACP gave him a 100% rating on their issues during the 108th Congress. However, in a 2001 incident Byrd repeatedly used the phrase "white niggers" on a national television broadcast.
This Donkd Trump KKK crsp is pure Bull-Crap. Say what you want anot him but he's not a Racist.
Although the ASS-HAT progressive would like you to believe that.
I think that the only racist anti- Semitic in this race is Hillary.

  74. Trump stated that it would be “unfair” to judge the groups without doing more “research” on them.

Well, I have to look at the group, Trump replied. “I mean, I don’t know what group you’re talking about. You wouldn’t want me to condemn a group that I know nothing about. I’d have to look. If you would send me a list of the groups, I will do research on them, and certainly I would disavow if I thought that there was something wrong.”
