ReplyDeleteRich-bashing, Trump-bashing, Republican-bashing, and a seemingly endless series of "I will fight for you to get you" this, that and the other thing with no discussion of how any of them plan to PAY for all the seemingly unlimited free services they say they plan to provide.
I suppose another round or ten of "hot checks" issued with fiat money that has no tangible asset to back it up will be expected to keep the masses happy. What ELSE could they possibly have in mind? Oh RAISING TAXES, of course, but where will they get the money once they've finally bled "the rich" to death?
As the cliché says, "Socialism is a lovely thing –– until you run out of OTHER PEOPLE'S MONEY."
That said, the RINO Establishment in no better than the DNC and its minions. BOTH parties stink to high heaven, And that is why a character like Donald Trump has so much appeal. I only wish I could believe that he, Trump, isn't in on the gag and playing us all for a bunch of suckers.
In fairness I do have to say that Martin O'Malley speaks very well, is articulate, has a good resonant clear voice with no trace of a regional or low-class accent. He also seems very sincere, and makes a fine appearance. I was surprised at how intelligent and on top of the game he appeared, BUT we know that O'Malley doesn't stand anymore chance of getting the D'Rat nomination than you, I, or Lyndon LaRouche. ;-) Besides that, the State of Maryland, which he says he ran with admirable economy, and the City of Baltimore of which he was Mayor are some of the worst areas in the country second only to Detroit, Chicago, the State of Illinois, California, and the District of Columbia.
I thought the moderators played the game very well. They did not appear as biased in favor of the D'Rats as they usually do, and as you pointed out Martha Radich (?) asked some honest tough questions in a professionally neutral tone which spoke very well for her. The other moderator, whose name I can't recall, seemed to be fighting to control the candidates too much of the time. Very frankly, I like the way O'Malley kept on talking, held the floor and said what he wanted to say with considerable force.
Bernie, despite his godawful Brooklyn Jewish accent, comes across as likable, despite his loud blustering tone, because he seems –– dare i say it? –– SINCERE.
I can like someone, even when I disagree strongly with him, if I believe he means what he says.
Hillagrinch, as always, sounded harsh, abrasive, devoid of affection, tone deaf and spectacularly lacking in grace, charm and sincerity, though her appearance has improved considerably since she hired a new fashion consultant and started to wear a wig.
And Hillagrinch ,lol, is very phony and like Obama she comes off as smug and all full of herself like she is more deserving than everyone else
