Trump Working For Hillary?

After weeks of facing accusations about his eligibility to be president, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is fighting back against billionaire Donald Trump with a conspiracy theory of his own.
Cruz seems to be trying to renew chatter that Trump is a plant meant to help Hillary Clinton win the election — or, at the least, that Trump is benefiting Clinton’s campaign.
The conspiracy theory that Trump is a Democratic plant — and perhaps not genuinely a Republican — began shortly after Trump announced his campaign. As an independent businessman, Trump had previously donated to Clinton’s Senate campaigns and to the Clinton Foundation. And long-time Trump observers say they have been surprised by the hard right turn he has taken in his presidential campaign.
Trump has explained his previous support of Democratic candidates as part of doing business in left-leaning New York, and has admitted that some of his positions on issues like abortion have evolved over the years. And as Trump has risen in the polls to become a serious challenger to Clinton, most of the talk that Trump and the Democrats were in cahoots seemed to die down.
But now Cruz appears ready to give it another spark.
Cruz began raising the issue Tuesday while questioning Trump’s “New York values” and his close association with liberals. In particular, Cruz questioned whether, on the issue of Cruz’s eligibility, Trump was getting advice from leading Democrats.
“It’s more than a little strange to see Donald Trump is relying on as authoritative a liberal left-wing judicial activist Harvard law professor who is a huge Hillary supporter,” said Cruz, referring to the fact that Trump has repeatedly cited professor Laurence Tribe on the issue of Cruz’s eligibility.
Tribe, a well-known liberal and supporter of Democratic candidates, has been called President Barack Obama’s legal mentor.
“It starts to make you think, gosh, why are Hillary’s strongest supporters backing Donald Trump? The past couple of elections we saw the Democrats thrilled that they got the nominee they wanted to run against in the general election,” Cruz said. “The Hillary folks are very eager to support Donald Trump.”

I pray this is not true. What do,you think?

  1. I don't know whether it is true or not, Lisa. Many of my more traditional Republican friends deeply resent Trump's intrusion into the campaign. They have been quick to come to the conclusion that Trump has been acting in secret as a cat's paw for Hillary.

I doubt it's true, but, as Franklin said, "The only things certain in this world are Death and Taxes."

Now, one of my ultra-liberal friends (Yes, I have them!) says he;s delighted at the prospect of Trump winning the Republican nomination. He and his "politibuddies" want to believe that Trump is SO outlandish that his candidacy would ensure a landslide for Her Heinous.

I believe I understand Trump. NBe's deliberately playing a character part to stir the masses who've grown fed up sick and tired of politics s usual.

I don't really know what to believe, but if Trump runs, I will be sure to vote for him.

What do YOU think of Ted Cruz?

  2. I like Ted Cruz also. Believe it or not I like Jeb Bush also. I still like Carson and also Christie

    1. Dr. Carson has been my favorite from the beginning, Lisa. Unfortunately, he's just not noisy enough to make himself heard above the roaring din the enemedia foments and encourages each day.

I was delighted at his early popularity, and had real hope for a while that "the people" were finally beginning to wake up to reality and develop some sense for a change.

I haven't given up hope yet. I shall watch tonight's debate with great interest to see if anything "breaks" in any one particular direction.

If Dr. Carson's popularity experiences a renascence tonight, I know I'll sleep more soundly.

Frankly, I think it would take a genuine miracle to save this country from the horrid fate a second Clinton presidency would be sure to bring.

In truth all we can do is pray to God for guidance, and hope for the best.

    2. Dr. Carson. Of course, that fine upstanding "Christian Man". Without a clue, in more ways than one!

    3. I bet he would learn a lot faster than Obama

    4. I bet he would learn a lot faster than Obama

  3. What value does the Trump candidacy provide Hillary?

    1. What value would there be in controlling multiple jockey's in the Kentucky Derby?

  4. duck, are you that stupid? Trump eventually runs Indy which assures a hilrod white house.

Lisa, LOVE your header pictures, including this one of course. I like Cruz, wouldn't even bother voting if Bush or Christie.. FWIW

    1. PS - Trump bottom line is unelectable, also assuring a hildebeast white house.

    2. There's someone on the clown car whose ass Hillary can't kick with or without Trump.

You're playing a little too much inside baseball, kid.

    3. "PS - Trump bottom line is unelectable, also assuring a hildebeast white house."
That of course is BS. Where did you get that nonsense from?
Trump is definitely electable and he will win this race.
      You can bank on it.

    4. Hillary can't even kick Bernie's *ss despite a "fixer" at DNC.

    5. Hillahexe's CLOVEN HOOF suffered severe damage when she BREATHED a little too close to it for comfort a few months ago. Ergo she can't kick against the pricks anymore.

      Isn't it sad? –– NOT!

I've heard her shriveled breasts seep prussic acid, but other claim aqua regia. I don't really want to know which for sure, do you?

    6. Kid,
Trump eventually runs Indy which assures a hilrod white house.

If Trump runs as an Independent, we just might then know that he's been in the HillaryBeast camp all along.

  5. Thanks Kid. Of course we will never have the perfect candidate but I will vote for whoever is the nominee .
It would be a vote against Hillary or Sanders, God help us

    1. I disagree with Bernie's ideology, Lisa, but he has ONE great virtue that really DOES have appeal:

      He's S-I-N-C-E-R-E.

Even though he's an unabashed Marxist, his passionate honesty makes him far more appealing than than the scheming, manipulative, chameleon-like, always SELF-serving machinations of Hillary Clinton.

I'm not at all sure that The Donald is The Real Deal. In fact I strongly suspect he's playing this like The Wheeler Dealer he has always been, BUT I would vote for Trump –– hell I'd even vote for SATAN! –– rather than give one iota of support to Her Heinous.

    2. FT,
No doubt about it. Bernie Sanders is sincere. He's much like everybody's crotchety uncle, too.

    3. I hope the 2 dopes, cocaine addict and the democratic birdbrains lose in a landslide this November to whoever gets the GOP ticket.

  6. Trump is less of a threat to Americans civil liberties and freedom of religion than Trumpy but both are a danger.

Neither are electable as the majority of the general electorate has more sense than to vote for either to the most powerful office in the land.

The republicans have many problems, the tea party being at the top of the list.

    1. Opps, early morning typo. Should resd Trump I id less of a threat than Cruz.

As for drugs, not my bag. Yours?

    2. Get off the Teabag references already RN. The dems are the ones who have a probem with the tea party as proven in 2010 and again in 2012

    3. I have a problem with the tea party, and mark my words Lisa, so will you should it ever control all branches of government.

    4. What is your problem with it exactly

  7. "Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people."

    ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

Yes, indeed, but she should have added, "Morons waste their time and that of every one around them sneering, insulting, and casting aspersions on everyone in sight while taking pot shots at each other."

    1. See FreeThinke, you're dull of shit up to your eyebrows. Why, because the only ideas or viewpoints accepted for discussion, without derision, by you and your fellow travelers are ideas and views approved of by the neo con, tea party, small minded politicians and right wing media.

So FreeThink, look into your legendary mirror. The one you personally, and obviously, never use.

      Good day.

    2. How nice((((( sarcastic)))))you are, do you speak that Wsy to your mother as well?

    3. Well, there you have two clear-cut examples of EXACTLY what I meant in quoting Mrs. Roosevelt above.

"Morons waste their time and that of every one around them sneering, insulting, and casting aspersions on everyone in sight while taking pot shots at each other."

    4. No, my mother never deserved it. That and she passed away 8 years ago, she checks in every so often.

Freethinke... Check the mirror, it's calling to you.

  8. This election cycle is quite different then anything we've seen in recent times and both mainstream Republicans and left leaners alike cannot grasp the mood of many American's.
The Trump factor has both left and right detractors beside themselves, The Donald is outside their small sphere of understanding so they are compelled through fear of their own making to strike out at him.

  9. See Saw from whore to whore.
    Soon, we’ll be newly mastered,
But nothing’s ever going to change,
‘Cause each candidate is a bastard.

    ~ Marjorie Daw

  10. I think FT and RN need to get a room.....there seems to be a lot of sexual tension between them.

"Great minds discuss ideas; average minds discuss events; small minds discuss people."

    ~ Eleanor Roosevelt

Yes, indeed, but she should have added, "Morons waste their time and that of every one around them sneering, jeering, insulting, and casting aspersions on everyone in sight while taking pot shots at each other."

  12. At lest Kerry didn’t bring in James Taylor to sing “Kumbaya” or “You’ve got a friend”

    1. lol right. The left's foreign policy "Sing songs"

  13. Something wrong with this woman I think she had to many fls on her head.

  14. I thought that last nights debate was the best debate of them all. In all of my years of following political debates and elections, I have come to one conclusion; the Democrats has become the party of Socialists, and the Republicans have became the Conservative Party, the Party of Ronald Reagan.
They no longer are the wimpy RINOs, who have been losers in the past. And as for the Democrats they remain to be the same old crying blubbering bleeding hearts, always name calling and crying about us being racists and bigots simply because it fits their agenda of being the party of ignorance.

As far as I'm concerned Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Christie, certainly had powerful moments and projected the strong-man image, Trump, Cruz, and Rubio, stood out as being the strong men. Rubio clearly had the best command of evidence to support his claims. Although I think that Donald Trump, and Ted Cruz stole the show!
I also think that at this point, John Kasich, and Jeb Bush will be finished.

They all hit Obama on their disgust and anger over the Iranian abuse of our sailors, on their knees, and their hands behind their heads, and the female sailor forced to wear a head scarf.
Marco Rubio said, that John Kerry’s thanking them was way out of line, and if they would have returned the sailors immediately and without incident, it would have deserved a “Thank You”, but NOT in that case! .
After seeing those US Navy sailors on their knees with their hands behind their head, I’d be damned if I’d give them a BILLION and a Half Dollars! Also I thought that hit home extremely well.

I myself, will vote for Trump! I’m sure that if Trump is elected, he will fill his cabinet positions with the most qualified people he can find. He’s a businessman and knows that experience and qualifications is what leads to success, none of those political paybacks and favors.
You won’t be seeing those party hacks won’t getting the positions that we see with the Obama administration. We’ll most likely see Ambassadors with foreign business experience instead of wealthy party socialites, celebrities, playboys, or Basketball players, in those positions. America will know just who her enemies are and who are friends are. And we will have people in positions to take care of our problem properly.

Is Obama America's Greatest President Ever? I don’t think so! I truly believe he racks among the WORSE!
I’ve seen and heard all of Barack Obama’s previous speeches, or at least most of them, and as for his State of the Union last Tuesday night, I thought it was the worse of them all, it contained more lies than ever, it was a political charade, nothing more Bragging, and slapping himself on his back all night long. He bragged about how great he is and about all of his “So Called Accomplishment” ! Never maintaining his LOUSY deal with Iran, who was at that time holding our 10 Sailors at their keens.

They humiliate our Men & Women. They filmed them on their knees with their hands behind their heads, for propaganda purposes. The forced the female to wear a head scarf. And OUR SECRETARY OF State, John Kerry thanked them..!
Go figure, Is this the United States that I remember?

At lest Kerry didn’t bring in James Taylor to sing “Kumbaya” or “You’ve got a friend”

And I also thought that Neil Cavuto and Maria Bartiromo were the best moderators yet!

  15. Here's a news flash Ezzee, no one here gives a shit what you think. At this blog you are inconsequential.

Now, you are dismissed....don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out.

  16. Regarding the Academy Awards, I see that the race-baiting, self acclaimed Reverend Al (sharpie) Sharpton wants the Academy Awards to more Black nominated again! When did I hear that before? Is the Academy Awards now rated on a affirmative action basis?
Al Sharpton’s shtick is not only disgusting, but his BS is beginning to wear thin. Why don’t the little corrupted, fool stick to his Rats nest with the other with the Progressive Socialist that he supports and keep his nose out of Hollywood., and Washington and every other place he don’t belong.
Truth be told if Al Sharpton, the disgusting race baiting, tax-dodging money hustler wants to criticizing the Oscars because there aren’t any Blacks that are worth nominating, let him take his complaints to his buddy Barack Obama, then maybe he could sign an Executive Order, and nominate Whoopi Goldberg, Eddie Murphy,Samuel L. Jackson, or Morgan Freeman or better yet Oprah Winfrey!

    1. Live with it Sharpton, after all Hollywood is as LEFT WING WHACKO LIBERAL you can get. In other words they are part of your crowd. What goes around comes around. GOOD

    2. You know what this means - the Academy will play kissy face by having the First Gorilla, or Usama Ubangi himself announce the most significant award. Just like they did 3 years ago (lowest point of Oscars history)

  17. We don't know what we don't know.

I've never seen such a crazy primary season!

  18. A pitiful spectacle all around.

  19. I mnjust read the most vicious and mean blogger by a progressive A-Hole named Shaw Kenawe

    1. Why do you believe she is vicious and mean, simply because she disagrees with your views?

    2. She cut off your nuts, for one, RN.

    3. In your opinion. And, you know what is said about opinions.

    4. Can you try singing that again in a lower register, RN? I can only hear the lower frequencies.

    5. ...sounds falsetto to me! :)

    6. Are you a baritone castrato?

    7. Are you a baritone castrato?

    8. Integrating with a community of those like yourself is something any sane person could not care less about.

    9. That certainly explains your presence...

    10. @ King of the sock puppets -- Are you a baritone castrato?
      Nope, a Bald Soprano

  20. Trump is running until the Koch Brothers finally decide to pay him the billions they pledged to the GOP candidate of their choice. It was Scott until he tanked.

    1. Kayinsane got out of the asylum again...

    2. Another clever comment from Forrest Gump

    3. man, you come up with some whoppers.
And why shouldn't the Kochs support anybody they want to? Soros does, all the very rich Democrats do...
      think, "man".

    4. man, you come up with some whoppers.
And why shouldn't the Kochs support anybody they want to? Soros does, all the very rich Democrats do...
      think, "man".

    5. Trump never expected to get this far. There's no limit of the stupidity of those on the right. If her even thinks he's close to becoming POTUS, he will cut and run.

    6. Yeah he certainly has a history of running away from success. Turd.

    7. KayInsane is Pookie Toot-Toot's twin sissy.

  21. Trump could easily be working for the hildebeast. We'll see. If he does run as an indy, he is definitely working for the unconvicted criminal clintons.

  22. Let me say something positive about Donald. As far as I know he's the only candidate on either side who doesn't seem hell-bent on second cold war and realizes (apparently) that the 1997 treaty between Russia and Ukraine allows for the presence of not just 25,000 Russian soldiers but a significant part of their navy as well and that this whole Neocon narrative (spouted most recently by former Assistant Secretary of State, Vickie Nuland) of a Russian invasion Is pure and absolute bullshit......P.S. It has also been uncovered (by everybody from Info Wars to Democracy Now; for example - http://www.truth-out.org/news/item/31887-the-ukraine-mess-that-nuland-made) that the 2013 regime change in Ukraine was a) a coup, b) the violent overthrow of a Democratically-elected President (neo-Nazis playing a huge part in the putsch), and c) perpetrated with the blessing of both the U.S. and NATO....Yeah, I would say that we're definitely being lied to......BY BOTH PARTIES!!!

"2016 will prove to be a challenging year. I have NEVER been a believer in conspiracy theories which have have abounded in great numbers since Pearl Harbor ... Now I truly believe in one, and want your opinion on the matter.

"The Donald is a very close personal friend of Bill and Hillary. The Clintons attended both Ivanka and Donald's Weddings and he in turn attended Chelsea's. Donald met earlier in the year with Bill and some of Hillary's key operatives and they strongly urged him to run for President.

    "The purpose is threefold:

    1. If Donald wins the nomination, Hillary is a shoo-in,

    2. If he doesn't win the nomination and runs as an independent candidate (which he "denies" he will do), Hillary is even more of a shoo-in

    3. He makes these outlandish demagogic statements to make the Republican Party look bad. I'm sure Hillary secretly, or perhaps not so secretly, is cheering on the Donald's every move.

"If for some inconceivable reason he is elected, he wins, and if he doesn't he still wins by being rewarded in some yet-to-be-seen manner.

"It has to be a win-win for him, or why would he spend so much time on this effort? What I find appalling is that this wouldn't be possible without his substantial right-wing fan base.

"It's so so depressing in this great nation of 300,000,000-plus people we can't find and support better candidates than the 3 C's: a Commie, a Criminal and a Clown? The Commie and the Clown are self-evident. Very sadly I believe Hillary will become the next leader of the free world, instead of languishing in prison where she richly deserves to be.

"Simply stated it is a felony to send classified information over a personal server, and what about the tends of millions of dollars of dollars donated to the Clinton Foundation through a Canadian Foundation which hides the source of their foreign national and government donors? Please refer to NY Times and NPR articles on these subjects.

"Although Socialism has never worked anywhere at any time with Venezuela being its newest victim with collapsing oil prices no longer being able to subsidize Hugo Chavez's experiment, Sanders as a person is preferable to the other 2.

"I'd be interested in your thoughts."

    1. I think that YOU should take a double dose of your Meds and call the Doctor in the morning. Because you are delusional, and not thinking clearly.

    2. The LIFE-LONG FRIEND of Your's semms NUTS!

    3. I think you may be right FT . I keep that thought in my head all the time . Very unnerving to see this manipulation

    4. Yes, Lisa, it is. I strongly suspect virtually all of the SUPER-RICH, and Mr. Trump is certainly that, to be informally in league with one another –– a de facto conspiracy against the best interests of rank and file citizens (that's us!).

My friend, whom I've known since 1949, is anything but a fool. He was always far ahead of most members of our class , even in grade school, he's an honors graduate of MIT, and he's been enormously successful in business. He's rich, indeed, but not SO rich that I would consider him one of the Oligarchs.

I have no idea how the nominating process is going to turn out. I just wish I were more hopeful that it will bring us a better future.

As it is, even a solid conservative victory all around will be charged with trying to make a force something like Niagara Falls move in an opposite direction.

  25. In about two weeks we will have a winner,
    Here is my prediction...
    1) Cruz 33.33 %

    3) Rubio 24.4%
    4) Christie 18.9 %

  29. _____ DOVER BEACH _____

    The sea is calm tonight,
The tide is full, the moon lies fair
Upon the straits; on the French coast the light
Gleams and is gone; the cliffs of England stand,
Glimmering and vast, out in the tranquil bay.
Come to the window, sweet is the night air!
Only, from the long line of spray

Where the sea meets the moon-blanched land,
Listen! you hear the grating roar
Of pebbles which the waves draw back, and fling,
At their return, up the high strand,
Begin, and cease, and then again begin,
With tremulous cadence slow, and bring

The eternal note of sadness in.
    Sophocles long ago
Heard it on the Agean,
    and it brought
Into his mind the turbid ebb and flow
Of human misery;
Find also in the sound a thought,
Hearing it by this distant northern sea.
    The Sea of Faith
Was once, too, at the full,
    And round earth's shore
Like the folds of a bright girdle furled.
But now I only hear
Its melancholy, long, withdrawing roar,
Retreating, to the breath
Of the night wind, down the vast edges drear

And naked shingles of the world.
Ah, love, let us be true
To one another!
    For the world, which seems
To lie before us like a land of dreams,
So various, so beautiful, so new,
Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light,

    Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain;
And we are here as on a darkling plain

Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight,

Where ignorant armies clash by night.

    ~ Matthew Arnold (1867)

  30. Here we go again pulling the race card & playing victim, about the Oscars. We have Black Entertainment Television, Black Enterprise Magazine, NAACP image Awards, Ebony Magazine, Black Planet, A Black President & A Black First Lady. Even their dog is Black (Bo) A Black Attorney General of the United States Loretta Lynch. We even have Black Lives Matter (a silly movement that doesn't have any sense) but we have it. But we're crying because no Blacks were nominated for a Oscar???
Now if you can't get your stuff together under all that, something is wrong with you, Not them! Get your head out of the ground & stop crying,

  31. I Completely agree. I have wondered for a long time why we have BET, black beauty pageants and other shows that are called Black this and that and no whites are nominated or win on those shows. If we had shows that were named White this and white that then there would be no end to the protests about them. Again I think that most people are too afraid to speak up and say this is wrong because it is not the politically correct thing to do. You can't have it both ways like she said.

  32. Think about this, in regard to the Black Entertaiment network.
    And the the double standard...
If they outlaw the word, "nigger," all Black comics and rappers would be out of business.

  33. Hopefully, we'll get a Cruz-Trump ticket or a Trump-Cruz ticket. I don't see anything else with a chance of winning.

  34. Either a disaster for the GOP and certainly for the country should it win. Which of course it won't.

  35. Ahhh,RN the noted political pundit stops by to denigrate the Republican front runners. This noted political expert RN feels neither Trump or Cruz is qualified to be President yet RN is a staunch supporter of the dullard Gary Johnson who he feels is a most viable candidate for the office..... yes sir ree, this RN is a real political expert and someone who's opinion should be taken seriously.

  36. Again the lying Shakelford has it wrong. Johnson is an honest and actual libertarian. His character as well as his achievements both personally and as Governor are a matter of record.

I support many of Johnson's views, just as I did Ron Paul's views. However, as a candidate he is not viable if winning is the criteria; which of course it is. Since MA. will go for Clinton or Sanders I am free to vote Johnson again should I wish to do so.

Not that I would vote for Cruz or Trumpf under any circumstances.

Now Rust Bucket, don't you have an appointment with Radical Redass?

  37. Hey pundit....list three of Gary Johnson's "achievements" and smoking vast amounts of weed doesn't count.

Johnson couldn't carry any of the current Republican candidates briefcases.

    1. Do the work yourself Rust Bucket, his record as both a businessman and governor is a matter of public record. And, you just might learn something.

You have it bass ackwards with respect who is unable to carry whose briefcase.

  38. "... And we are here as on a darkling plain
swept by confused alarums of struggle and flight
Where ignorant armies clash by night."

~ Matthew Arnold, excerpt from Dover Beach

_____ Battling in the Darkness _____

    Irrationality combined with spite
    Laced with paranoid self-righteous zeal
Makes a combination hard to fight,
Since adversaries treat with nothing real.

    Projection of self-doubt with willfulness
Combines to seal out decent, common sense.
So, even virtue shown with skillfulness
    Can’t penetrate Obduracy’s defense.

Alas! The joy of honest thoughts exchanged
Is lost midst warring egotists stalemated ––
Entrenched by suppositions oft deranged ––
Employed to see all mutually berated.

Thus trapped in darkness blindly on we fight
Afraid to see our faults exposed to light.

  40. DAMN those rotten communists in the Democrap party. DAMN THEM! Damn them to HELL for how they have smashed our society from its moorings.

Throw Hellary Rotten Clintoon and her pedophile rapist husband down into the bowels of hell where they can rape and be anally raped by their fellow imps and demons.

May their followers, sycophants and clinging dingleberries be stricken with pimples, pustules, and flaming boils upon their asses. May their smart phones send them into lampposts, ditches, brick walls and deep holes in the ground.

  41. Trump working for hilrod? Could be. We'll find out soon enough. If Trump goes indy, then that seals the deal.

  43. Officials: New Top Secret Clinton Emails 'Innocuous’

    1. not harmful or offensive

    1. Of course. Naturally.

Now what do YOU suppose "they" would say, if a former REPUBLICAN senator and former REPUBLICAN Secretary of State running for POTUS were found committing the EXACT SAME ACTS with an ILLEGAL "P-R-I-V-A-T-E SERVER?"

  44. The ghost of 2008 is begining to bite Hillary square on her fat ass.
Looks like the dems are going to have Uncle Joe and the indian squaw warming up in the bullpen.

  45. I just had a wild thought: what would happen if the GOP Ticket were Donald Trump and Michele Bachmann?
