Trump Working For Hillary?

After weeks of facing accusations about his eligibility to be president, Texas Sen. Ted Cruz is fighting back against billionaire Donald Trump with a conspiracy theory of his own.
Cruz seems to be trying to renew chatter that Trump is a plant meant to help Hillary Clinton win the election — or, at the least, that Trump is benefiting Clinton’s campaign.
The conspiracy theory that Trump is a Democratic plant — and perhaps not genuinely a Republican — began shortly after Trump announced his campaign. As an independent businessman, Trump had previously donated to Clinton’s Senate campaigns and to the Clinton Foundation. And long-time Trump observers say they have been surprised by the hard right turn he has taken in his presidential campaign.
Trump has explained his previous support of Democratic candidates as part of doing business in left-leaning New York, and has admitted that some of his positions on issues like abortion have evolved over the years. And as Trump has risen in the polls to become a serious challenger to Clinton, most of the talk that Trump and the Democrats were in cahoots seemed to die down.
But now Cruz appears ready to give it another spark.
Cruz began raising the issue Tuesday while questioning Trump’s “New York values” and his close association with liberals. In particular, Cruz questioned whether, on the issue of Cruz’s eligibility, Trump was getting advice from leading Democrats.
“It’s more than a little strange to see Donald Trump is relying on as authoritative a liberal left-wing judicial activist Harvard law professor who is a huge Hillary supporter,” said Cruz, referring to the fact that Trump has repeatedly cited professor Laurence Tribe on the issue of Cruz’s eligibility.
Tribe, a well-known liberal and supporter of Democratic candidates, has been called President Barack Obama’s legal mentor.
“It starts to make you think, gosh, why are Hillary’s strongest supporters backing Donald Trump? The past couple of elections we saw the Democrats thrilled that they got the nominee they wanted to run against in the general election,” Cruz said. “The Hillary folks are very eager to support Donald Trump.”

I pray this is not true. What do,you think?

  1. I don't know whether it is true or not, Lisa. Many of my more traditional Republican friends deeply resent Trump's intrusion into the campaign. They have been quick to come to the conclusion that Trump has been acting in secret as a cat's paw for Hillary.

I doubt it's true, but, as Franklin said, "The only things certain in this world are Death and Taxes."

Now, one of my ultra-liberal friends (Yes, I have them!) says he;s delighted at the prospect of Trump winning the Republican nomination. He and his "politibuddies" want to believe that Trump is SO outlandish that his candidacy would ensure a landslide for Her Heinous.

I believe I understand Trump. NBe's deliberately playing a character part to stir the masses who've grown fed up sick and tired of politics s usual.

I don't really know what to believe, but if Trump runs, I will be sure to vote for him.

What do YOU think of Ted Cruz?

    1. Dr. Carson has been my favorite from the beginning, Lisa. Unfortunately, he's just not noisy enough to make himself heard above the roaring din the enemedia foments and encourages each day.

I was delighted at his early popularity, and had real hope for a while that "the people" were finally beginning to wake up to reality and develop some sense for a change.

I haven't given up hope yet. I shall watch tonight's debate with great interest to see if anything "breaks" in any one particular direction.

If Dr. Carson's popularity experiences a renascence tonight, I know I'll sleep more soundly.

Frankly, I think it would take a genuine miracle to save this country from the horrid fate a second Clinton presidency would be sure to bring.

In truth all we can do is pray to God for guidance, and hope for the best.

  14. I thought that last nights debate was the best debate of them all. In all of my years of following political debates and elections, I have come to one conclusion; the Democrats has become the party of Socialists, and the Republicans have became the Conservative Party, the Party of Ronald Reagan.
They no longer are the wimpy RINOs, who have been losers in the past. And as for the Democrats they remain to be the same old crying blubbering bleeding hearts, always name calling and crying about us being racists and bigots simply because it fits their agenda of being the party of ignorance.

As far as I'm concerned Trump, Cruz, Rubio, Christie, certainly had powerful moments and projected the strong-man image, Trump, Cruz, and Rubio, stood out as being the strong men. Rubio clearly had the best command of evidence to support his claims. Although I think that Donald Trump, and Ted Cruz stole the show!
I also think that at this point, John Kasich, and Jeb Bush will be finished.

They all hit Obama on their disgust and anger over the Iranian abuse of our sailors, on their knees, and their hands behind their heads, and the female sailor forced to wear a head scarf.
Marco Rubio said, that John Kerry’s thanking them was way out of line, and if they would have returned the sailors immediately and without incident, it would have deserved a “Thank You”, but NOT in that case! .
After seeing those US Navy sailors on their knees with their hands behind their head, I’d be damned if I’d give them a BILLION and a Half Dollars! Also I thought that hit home extremely well.

I myself, will vote for Trump! I’m sure that if Trump is elected, he will fill his cabinet positions with the most qualified people he can find. He’s a businessman and knows that experience and qualifications is what leads to success, none of those political paybacks and favors.
You won’t be seeing those party hacks won’t getting the positions that we see with the Obama administration. We’ll most likely see Ambassadors with foreign business experience instead of wealthy party socialites, celebrities, playboys, or Basketball players, in those positions. America will know just who her enemies are and who are friends are. And we will have people in positions to take care of our problem properly.

Is Obama America's Greatest President Ever? I don’t think so! I truly believe he racks among the WORSE!
I’ve seen and heard all of Barack Obama’s previous speeches, or at least most of them, and as for his State of the Union last Tuesday night, I thought it was the worse of them all, it contained more lies than ever, it was a political charade, nothing more Bragging, and slapping himself on his back all night long. He bragged about how great he is and about all of his “So Called Accomplishment” ! Never maintaining his LOUSY deal with Iran, who was at that time holding our 10 Sailors at their keens.

They humiliate our Men & Women. They filmed them on their knees with their hands behind their heads, for propaganda purposes. The forced the female to wear a head scarf. And OUR SECRETARY OF State, John Kerry thanked them..!
Go figure, Is this the United States that I remember?

At lest Kerry didn’t bring in James Taylor to sing “Kumbaya” or “You’ve got a friend”

And I also thought that Neil Cavuto and Maria Bartiromo were the best moderators yet!

It has also been uncovered (by everybody from Info Wars to Democracy Now; for example - http://www.truth-out.org/news/item/31887-the-ukraine-mess-that-nuland-made) that the 2013 regime change in Ukraine was a) a coup, b) the violent overthrow of a Democratically-elected President (neo-Nazis playing a huge part in the putsch), and c) perpetrated with the blessing of both the U.S. and NATO....Yeah, I would say that we're definitely being lied to......BY BOTH PARTIES!!!

  23. TO GET BACK to the SUBJECT of LISA'S POST:

A LIFE-LONG FRIEND of MINE SUBMITTED the FOLLOWING YESTERDAY VIA EMAIL:

"2016 will prove to be a challenging year. I have NEVER been a believer in conspiracy theories which have have abounded in great numbers since Pearl Harbor ... Now I truly believe in one, and want your opinion on the matter.

"The Donald is a very close personal friend of Bill and Hillary. The Clintons attended both Ivanka and Donald's Weddings and he in turn attended Chelsea's. Donald met earlier in the year with Bill and some of Hillary's key operatives and they strongly urged him to run for President.

    "The purpose is threefold:

    1. If Donald wins the nomination, Hillary is a shoo-in,

    2. If he doesn't win the nomination and runs as an independent candidate (which he "denies" he will do), Hillary is even more of a shoo-in

    3. He makes these outlandish demagogic statements to make the Republican Party look bad. I'm sure Hillary secretly, or perhaps not so secretly, is cheering on the Donald's every move.

"If for some inconceivable reason he is elected, he wins, and if he doesn't he still wins by being rewarded in some yet-to-be-seen manner.

"It has to be a win-win for him, or why would he spend so much time on this effort? What I find appalling is that this wouldn't be possible without his substantial right-wing fan base.

"It's so so depressing in this great nation of 300,000,000-plus people we can't find and support better candidates than the 3 C's: a Commie, a Criminal and a Clown? The Commie and the Clown are self-evident. Very sadly I believe Hillary will become the next leader of the free world, instead of languishing in prison where she richly deserves to be.

"Simply stated it is a felony to send classified information over a personal server, and what about the tends of millions of dollars of dollars donated to the Clinton Foundation through a Canadian Foundation which hides the source of their foreign national and government donors? Please refer to NY Times and NPR articles on these subjects.

"Although Socialism has never worked anywhere at any time with Venezuela being its newest victim with collapsing oil prices no longer being able to subsidize Hugo Chavez's experiment, Sanders as a person is preferable to the other 2.

"I'd be interested in your thoughts."

I have no idea how the nominating process is going to turn out. I just wish I were more hopeful that it will bring us a better future.

  29. _____ DOVER BEACH _____

    The sea is calm tonight,
The tide is full, the moon lies fair
Upon the straits; on the French coast the light
Gleams and is gone; the cliffs of England stand,
Glimmering and vast, out in the tranquil bay.
Come to the window, sweet is the night air!
Only, from the long line of spray

Where the sea meets the moon-blanched land,

Listen! you hear the grating roar

Of pebbles which the waves draw back, and fling,

At their return, up the high strand,

Begin, and cease, and then again begin,

With tremulous cadence slow, and bring

The eternal note of sadness in.
    Sophocles long ago
Heard it on the Agean,
    and it brought
Into his mind the turbid ebb and flow

Of human misery;
    We
Find also in the sound a thought,

Hearing it by this distant northern sea.
    The Sea of Faith
Was once, too, at the full,
    And round earth's shore
Lay
Like the folds of a bright girdle furled.

But now I only hear

Its melancholy, long, withdrawing roar,

Retreating, to the breath

Of the night wind, down the vast edges drear

And naked shingles of the world.
Ah, love, let us be true
To one another!
    For the world, which seems

To lie before us like a land of dreams,

So various, so beautiful, so new,

Hath really neither joy, nor love, nor light,

    Nor certitude, nor peace, nor help for pain;

And we are here as on a darkling plain

Swept with confused alarms of struggle and flight,

Where ignorant armies clash by night.

Johnson couldn't carry any of the current Republican candidates briefcases.

    1. Do the work yourself Rust Bucket, his record as both a businessman and governor is a matter of public record. And, you just might learn something.

  38. "... And we are here as on a darkling plain
swept by confused alarums of struggle and flight
Where ignorant armies clash by night."

~ Matthew Arnold, excerpt from Dover Beach

_____ Battling in the Darkness _____

    Irrationality combined with spite
    Laced with paranoid self-righteous zeal
Makes a combination hard to fight,
Since adversaries treat with nothing real.

    Projection of self-doubt with willfulness
Combines to seal out decent, common sense.
So, even virtue shown with skillfulness
    Can’t penetrate Obduracy’s defense.

Alas! The joy of honest thoughts exchanged
Is lost midst warring egotists stalemated ––
Entrenched by suppositions oft deranged ––
Employed to see all mutually berated.

Thus trapped in darkness blindly on we fight
Afraid to see our faults exposed to light.

  40. DAMN those rotten communists in the Democrap party. DAMN THEM! Damn them to HELL for how they have smashed our society from its moorings.

Throw Hellary Rotten Clintoon and her pedophile rapist husband down into the bowels of hell where they can rape and be anally raped by their fellow imps and demons.

May their followers, sycophants and clinging dingleberries be stricken with pimples, pustules, and flaming boils upon their asses. May their smart phones send them into lampposts, ditches, brick walls and deep holes in the ground.

    1. Of course. Naturally.

Now what do YOU suppose "they" would say, if a former REPUBLICAN senator and former REPUBLICAN Secretary of State running for POTUS were found committing the EXACT SAME ACTS with an ILLEGAL "P-R-I-V-A-T-E SERVER?"
